Equimake changelog
📝 New User Role: "Contributor"
New Contributor role allows you to safely collaborate with people. Users with the role Contributor are only able to create, edit, and delete object that they own.
Imagine a scenario where you want to give somebody access to collaborate with you but you don't necessarily want them to be able to edit all the objects in the experience. That's where Contributor role comes handy as it restricts the user to only create and modify their own objects without affecting what you or others already built. With this new patch there are now 3 roles:
Viewer - can only view the experiences
Contributor - can only create and modify their own objects
Editor - can create, edit and delete all the objects
Allow Anyone to Contribute
By default your experiences are protected from unwanted building access. However, if you want to automatically give Contributor role to anyone who visits your experience you can click "Allow Anyone to Contribute". It is listed under Danger Zone as it gives any stranger an opportunity to build inside your experience. Currently we limited the number of objects a given Contributor can spawn to 5 objects so it should be a relatively safe limit.
